    This SCART cable was perfect for what I needed and I am very happy with the quality. I have it hooked up to my TORO VIDEO BOX ( FOR THE DREAMCAST) then my Bandridge Scart Switch . (Then XRGB Mini Framemeister Upscaler which I have my Dreamcast hooked up to.) As others have noted in their reviews this cable is no lightweight. I had to put weight on the TORO that I have the SCART cable hooked up to or it would not stay in place. (The skull in my pictures).So, depending on your setup you might need to make adjustments to keep this cable in place as it is quite sturdy. Picture quality comes through great no lag during gameplay and it looks like it is so well constructed it would last a few lifetimes. Overall a great deal. Thanks Amazon!

    This works great to connect my Dreamcast from the Behar Bros Toro box to the euroscart to RGB mini 8-pin adapter that goes into my xRGB mini (framemeister). At first, I had an issue with a vertical white line appearing on the left side of the screen, but once I updated the xRGB mini firmware to the newest version, I had no more issues and this worked perfectly. The only con is that it's a heavy cable, so make sure you route it well (I got the 6ft one). I don't use a scart switcher, I connect it directly, but this cable is well built and thick enough that it would probably be high on my list of cables to consider if I were to get a switcher. One thing I wish is that they made it in a shorter option, like 3ft, but certainly not enough to take off a star.

    These are excellent scart cables. The connector is actually screwed together unlike most, so it won't come apart or come loose. The outer sheathe is heavy duty rubber insulation. The individual wires inside are heavily insulated, which is why the outer diameter is so thick.

    As a bonus the connectors have a cool chrome look, which is nice.

    You really can't get quality cables like this at least in the US for this price (or maybe even at all)

    Bought several of these to chain various scart switches together for my gaming setup, and they work great. They introduced no noise, and video is very clear.

    The only potential cons are that the connectors are heavy since they are metal, and the cable can take up a lot of space/isn't necessarily as flexible as smaller cables, so in some tight spaces or orientations this may not work out for you.

    Something worth noting: These cables at first appeared to introduce noise into my duo-rx, but on further testing i concluded it was just making the image slightly sharper, and the noise was caused by a particular socket in one of my scart switches. The noise was always there but became more noticeable with this cable. When switching to a different socket on the switch the problem was gone. So make sure you are using high quality switches (that particular one in my setup is not)

    I have 2 of these, the 6 foot and 10 foot. They are amazing (and amazingly thick) cables for the Toro Dreamcast box and for my gscart SCART switchbox into the OSSC. I plan to use these for making some custom cables in the future and also for my soon-to-be modded PC Engine IFU. These are a great value, ship fast in the US, and are very high quality. Be warned, they are incredibly thick and heavy duty and the cables do not bend easily.

    Edit:
    The cable and scart head are so heavy, they are liable to come loose from SCART sockets. Also, these are paired cables rather than fully shielded coaxial, so the 10 and especially 15 feet cables don't work very well.

    SCART cables were never widely used in North America, so to see one of such high quality being sold here is a rarity. The cable is extremely thick; it would take a lot of effort and many years of use to even begin to wear through. The connectors are solid and make a good connection with other SCART equipment, whether it be a switch box or a RGB to component converter. The cable is well shielded and normal use should not introduce any interference to both the video or the audio. The only other thing to note is that the thickness of the cable does impact its flexibility. This cable is quite stiff so trying to fit it into a small area such as behind an entertainment center might be difficult, but that wasn't a problem in my current setup. I'd highly recommend this cable for retro gaming for its excellent quality, both in the way it is built and the video it can deliver.
