I have been purchasing items from Lands End for at least thirty-five years. I have pretty much worn the same size (PM) ever since I started buying your products. I could always count on the items being good quality and the right size. However, the past three years things have changed drastically. The sizing is inconsistent, and the quality is deteriorating.

I ordered two pair of the Women's petite sport knit corduroy pants. First, they're not real corduroy. Second, they are much baggier and rumpled than they look on the website and third, the fit is way off. The rise is at least two inches too long which then makes the pants way too long as well. You can barely get anything in the side pockets because the opening is cut too small. They look all frumpy and unkempt. I am sending them back.

On another note, I used to love your serious sweat sweatahsirts. They originally came in nice colors, and again, I could always count on a PM being the right size. Then for three years all you were offering were these hideous color combinations and tie dyed patterns that no one in their right mind would wear. This year you finally offered some very pretty colors again BUT, you don't even offer them in petite sizes (for the shirts). So I'm 100% certain that ordering a regular size would mean the fit would be way off and the sleeves way too long. It's just really disappointing to see what used to be a great product line go downhill like this. But I guess all good things must come to an end.

I've worn these Sport Knit Cords for decades. I like the Coriander Color and the fit is similar to past (which means it runs large so if you have not ordered go down a size). However, the fabric is much thinner than any of the older ones in my closet. These have been my main winter pant and this new version isn't suitable for a winter climate (a Late Spring or Early Fall weight). Also, the "cordoroy" is now much less distinct and more like a velour look. You can even notice that in some of the Sport Knit photos on the website. Truthfully, when I first opened the envelope and saw the pant in the clear package, my first thought was "I didn't order pajama bottoms?" Then I opened it and realized it was the pant, but only a shadow of what it used to be. I'd say more like a lounge pant for wearing around the house or running to the grocery store than the old version which was a general pant for everything including going out to lunch with friends, church on cold days, etc. Please, please Lands' End, spend a little more money and put the old fabric back. Too many of us middle aged women live in these to make them in cheap looking fabric - we will pay the extra couple bucks that you've cut out in your downgrade to get the little more cotton that it used to contain.

I bought several pairs of these last year and love them, even though the length varied depending on the color. I just received three pairs all the same size-supposedly. One pair was a great fit and the other two were a couple of inches longer so they were too long. I just reordered the green in a regular medium and decided no to reorder the Coriander. It will not surprise me if the regular medium will be too short as this happened last year. You shouldn't advise and reprimand customers for giving truthful reviews. Many of us have shopped with this company for a couple of decades and the overall quality is not what it used to be. I will echo the lady who said I would happily pay more if we could depend on quality consistency. People who shop with you don't want to see this company fail, but our experience, sadly, has not been what other shoppers have had. Maybe these are made in different locations and some of those plants are dependable, some aren't. Eventually even people who have had good experiences will have bad ones at this rate. Why not respect your customers and look into it so we can keep shopping with you?

Previously, I have worn these pants for years and loved them. I am a size 14, but in these I wore a tall medium.. So comfortable, warm, laundered beautifully, good colors and lasted. They felt like p.j.s, but looked & fit beautifully.

Recently I ordered three pair, Deep Forest, Coriander, and Deep Sea Navy. The colors are great, but the fabric content has been changed. To me, the fabric looks and feels like Velour; shiny with a somewhat spotty appearance. The old cords were 73% cotton, 23 Polyester & 4 Spandex. The new ones are 62C, 33P, and 5S - so they have less cotton and more polyester, so perhaps that makes the difference.

Please consider offering the Knit Cords again with the previous fabric content, which to me was perfection.

Your marketing online has improved in the last year or so (models, photography, etc). Hope your quality does too.
