January 3, 2024I bought both the extra filling silk comforter and the standard bamboo comforter and I love them both. I bought the silk one first and it is so luxurious feeling and much different than a down comforter. I live in Southern California though and I found it to be too warm, so I also bought the standard bamboo which is perfect for us since our indoor temp does not typically go lower than the mid 60s. What I love about both is how well they stay put in the Cozy Earth duvets with the snaps and attachments. These are not comforters you can use without the CE duvet, IMO. The drape of both comforters around your body is so wonderful and soft. It’s a different feeling than down and I prefer it. Even though the silk is too warm for us, I really don’t want to return it because I have never felt anything like it. Wish I didn’t order the extra filling because maybe standard silk would have been less warm, but I am hoping it’s cold enough to use it one or two months a year. If you live in a cold climate I would say spurge and get the silk because it is out of this world comfort! That said, I am really happy with the bamboo too and am ordering more of the bamboo for my other beds in the house. Hope this helps you pick! Can’t go wrong with either, but warm climates will be fine with standard bamboo.

May 13, 2024I had purchased a Bamboo Blend Comforter it just was ok, that is until I found Cozy Earth,. What stood out about CE the snaps (not ties) on every corner, on the middle and sides they were bringing to the table snap on tabs in locations that refuse to let the comforter slide and bunch up. I was sold. Bought and installed inside their Duvet what a pleasure it been a few weeks and tossing/ turning cannot make the comforter shift or bunch up. That was what I was looking for, but what else I discovered is the bamboo is world class material, providing the best quality warm or cooling weather it helped me sleep later, without waking up. The only Comforter providing all of the highest quality, of sleeping with a world class Bamboo Comforter. This is it, you have found it. I bought it, will you?

July 13, 2024The comforter is luxurious. Super soft to the touch which is nice, but doesn’t matter too much when you have a duvet cover on. It is thinner than I expected. I love that it makes no noise when shifting the covers. It’s mid July, we keep our house between 65-68 degrees and I’m on the fence if it’s too warm to use year round. It’s not so warm that I’m uncomfortable sleeping, but when I happen to wake up, I have noticed that I’m sweating, which I wasn’t doing before. My husband hasn’t had that experience and loves the silk comforter. So I’m debating on switching to the other comforter option so I can use it year round.

January 18, 2023I was so excited bc I saved up enough to get this comforter. I did as much research as I could about the different fill levels. I opted for the thicker Winter weight bc I like a heavier feel. Aside from it being a total disaster to get inside the duvet cover. I wouldn’t want to have it be on its own bc of the stitching and the little hooks for the duvet cover. It also does not recommend you wash it very often and since I have had issues before i definitely wouldn’t wash it a lot. Aside from all that for being the thick version it is extremely thin. I live in Southern California for reference and the nighttime temperature is 60 degrees and I’m freezing. I have to sleep with an extra blanket on top which totally defeats the purpose of having an extremely expensive ascetically pleasing comforter. I guess I should have tried out the silk which looks fluffier and might actually fit in the duvet cover but I am hesitant to do so and spend even more. Wish I had better news. It is super soft just like the sheets.
