I bought the black/gray/white patterned, black, navy, white and ivory as I needed new turtlenecks for winter. These turtlenecks, to me, are more of a base-layer type of garment. I would not wear them by themselves, but use them as underlayers for sweaters, blazers, cardigans, etc. They are soft and comfortable and not bulky. If you are looking for a more substantial fabric that hangs more loosely and that can be worn alone, these may not be for you. The necks do not stay up, but crinkle down. I don't mind this at all...in fact, I prefer it. The necks are soft and not scratchy or irritating. There also isn't too much warmth to them by themselves. I have had much thicker turtlenecks that were cut differently, but again, I wanted something light and comfortable, and these work perfectly.

I've been looking for a light gray turtleneck for ages and was pleased to see this one. But I was very disappointed. First, the turtleneck smelled horrible when I removed it from the bag. There were no washing instructions included, either attached to or stamped on the garment. I ordered a large petite, though I generally order a medium because the description noted it wasn't a relaxed fit, which I prefer, and I'm 5'1": it came down to mid-thigh. The sleeves were at least 3" too long. There was no receipt in the bag, so I had to log onto the website and forage through the complicated process of finding a means to return the turtleneck. I now have to drive 20 miles--40 round trip--to reach a place to do so, and it's not open on Sunday, which is when we generally go there. Obviously, I am not pleased.

I love this product and order turtlenecks ONLY from LE now. I have slightly longer arms than usual, I guess. The spandex / tencel / whatever content (stretch, in other words) of these makes them perfect b/c they are long enough in the arm to suit me. I love the soft pink I ordered in this item. It's not a pink toward orange, but rather a cool pink... ever so slightly toward lavender. I love it! I also ordered several other colors b/c they were on sale and I can put them under a sweater that will complement them. I have tons of sweaters. I love the weight of these. Once I hit that certain phase of my life, cotton was too heavy and I roasted.

The Women's Lightweight Fitted Turtleneck is cut to fit women with hourglass figure and large bust. I put on the turtleneck and the shoulders went more than 2 inches past my shoulder, when I pulled the shoulders up to the natural position, a lot of fabric is gathered in front. Since I have small bust it leaves folds or wrinkles on the front. This cut is very different from the Relaxed Fit Turtlenecks I purchased last year (and I don't see them available this year). The waist is cut smaller than the width at the shoulders, and was too snug at the waist for me. Overall the Fitted Turtleneck doesn't fit me, I have the hourglass figure but narrow chest. Unless you have very wide shoulders, this will not work for small bust women.
