Was excited to try these out. I love the mint and burgundy colors. I find the fit great, [5'-5", 130lbs, small size] not to tight or too loose. The neck especially seems to hold up well, as some turtlenecks get too loose almost as if a cowl-neck. I find these very comfortable and the tencel is so smooth and almost silky-feeling, like bamboo. My only suggestion is that these would be more sustainable if made from a renewable resource like bamboo, instead of wood pulp from trees. Please add even more colorways. I would buy this in almost every color if I could !

I’ll be returning the $125 black turtleneck from another well known retailer. This one is far nicer, both in fit and feel. This neck is not as snug, the shoulder seams match the body width nicely. The fabric is very soft and substantial. But not heavy.

I usually order Tall from LE and did so on my first order. I’m 5’6” but don’t like short tops. In my second order I’m going for the regular. I’ll keep the Tall, but they’re quite long with long sleeves. Happily, the sleeves scrunch nicely, stay where you put them. I’m 130lb but older - ordered medium and it’s just right.

I bought the black/gray/white patterned, black, navy, white and ivory as I needed new turtlenecks for winter. These turtlenecks, to me, are more of a base-layer type of garment. I would not wear them by themselves, but use them as underlayers for sweaters, blazers, cardigans, etc. They are soft and comfortable and not bulky. If you are looking for a more substantial fabric that hangs more loosely and that can be worn alone, these may not be for you. The necks do not stay up, but crinkle down. I don't mind this at all...in fact, I prefer it. The necks are soft and not scratchy or irritating. There also isn't too much warmth to them by themselves. I have had much thicker turtlenecks that were cut differently, but again, I wanted something light and comfortable, and these work perfectly.

This light turtleneck is a product line I've been buying for many years. Unfortuneately, both last year and this, the product has become MUCH lighter. The same size is also smaller through the width. I still needed a couple new ones of this weight, so I kept 2 out of 3 of the colors-they're different enough from what I already own. But I don't like the mix of fabric threads LE is now using. Also, the product quality is down. The color I returned is definitely smaller width-wise than the 2 I kept.
