Description
Euphorbia helioscopia has a hairless, reddish stem, usually solitary and erect. Cultivated and waste land, roadsides, occasionally on seashores.
The latex of all Euphorbias can cause skin rash.
Flowers
Cyathia: the flowers are small with 2 to 5 yellowish-green fused bracts, similar in shape to the leaves.
Leaves
Elliptic oval leaf, Spatulate broad end of the leaf tapers to the point of connection with the plant stem. Oval or broad end of the leaf tapers to base. Finely serrated above the middle, 1.5-3 cm.
Fruits Seeds
Capsule: 2.5-3.5 mm.
