FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) - Hysterium Haunted Asylum, the city's renowned Halloween attraction, opens for the season on Friday night.

This fall you are being admitted into a hospital of horrors. Hysterium Haunted Asyum has open its doors for the spooky season

The Asylum, 4410 Arden Dr. (just off Engle Road), will be open every Friday and Saturday from Friday until Halloween, 7 p.m. to midnight.

Hours on Thursday, Oct. 28 and Tuesday, Oct. 31 will be 7-10 p.m.

The scares begin in the lobby when you enter the asylum, where patients are so happy to greet you.

Back by popular demand on Friday, November 4 and Saturday, November 5 is BLACKOUT.

All the lights are turned off and small groups of people are equipped with a glow stick to find their way through the asylum on their own.

People are advised the glow sticks are monster magnets, and the monsters will steal them from you.
