Vlogs from the Bog: Amphibia Food!

                                    

                                              

 "Hey everyone back home! In this, vlog, we're talking about food!" Anne said in a sing song voice. "I want to show you what I've been eating after being zapped into this crazy frog world." The brunette explained. She was standing beside Hop Pop and Flossie. 
 "Teach 'em guys!" 
 Hop Pop waved at the camera, pulling Flossie into frame. "Hi everyone! Today we'll make a fun meal with Flossie as my assistant!" He exclaimed. Flossie waved excitedly at the camera. 
 "Hope we won't have to use my secret explosive ingredient!" He chuckled, giving the camera a small wink. Anne leaned down to fit into the frame. "You probably will." She said, as Hop Pop pushed her out of view. "Eh, what do you know!" He yelled. 
 Flossie moved out of his way, as Anne and Hop Pop talked off screen. "Oh boy. This isn't gonna end well..."

 Hop Pop was now standing at his kitchen bench. "Okay. I'll show you step by step the recipe to make Amphibia Bug Roast!" He announced, grabbing a rhino beetle and placing it on the table. Flossie passed him his knife. "You start with a big fat beetle..." grabbing the knife, he attempted to slice the beetle in half. It dodged all his attacks, however, even roaring threateningly at the frog. 
 Hop Pop hummed in thought. "Well, if your bug won't pass quietly, pin it against your next ingredient!" 
 The frog brought in a centipede, dropping it in front of the beetle. "Fight! And I'll let the winner go!" Hop Pop laughed.
 Flossie watched, disturbed. "Uh...Hop Pop? Don't you think this is getting a little...unnecessary? We could just let this one go and get a different one?" She asked anxiously, a nervous smile on her face. Hop Pop frowned at the axolotl. "Nonsense! We just gotta wait till they're-FROG DANGIT! They became friends!" He groaned, gesturing to the beetle and centipede shaking hands. Shaking his head, he walked away. "Fine. Then we'll just have to move onto the next step." He announced, walking back with an armful of vegetables. "Flossie darl, could you please bring over more vegetables? Here, fight the next ingredients!" He ordered. The vegetables sat perfectly still, as Flossie came back with more vegetables. 
 "Hmm...dang pacifist vegetables."

 Flossie was now sitting aside, ordered by Hop Pop because she thought his cooking antics were becoming "ridiculous". The elderly frog was now carrying a hot pot, as the beetle and centipede built a fortress made out of vegetables. 
 "The recipe then calls for boiling sauce!" Hop Pop stated, pouring the sauce on the table. Flossie watched, feeling a sense of doom building up in her stomach.
 "Oh toads! Their shelter's too strong!' Hop Pop yelled, before screaming in pain as the centipede and beetle attacked him. Flossie jumped up from her spot. "Hold on Hop Pop!"

 Bits of destroyed vegetables were splayed out on the table, the centipede and beetle standing victoriously over Hop Pop. The frog was waving a flag, and Flossie stood off to the side, shaking her head. 
 "Finally, when you've pleaded for mercy." Hop Pop continued, as the bugs turned their back on him. "With that, add your final secret ingredient: boom shrooms!" Hop Pop cackled, opening his palm to show an activated boom shroom. 
 Flossie panicked. "WAIT-NO! HOP POP!" 

 The trio were now outside, watching the flames burn down the Plantar home. Flossie glared angrily at Hop Pop every few seconds, creating a water jet to douse the roaring fire. 
 Anne turned to the camera. "Yep. It always comes to this." She stated blankly. Hop Pop threw up his arms. "It was all in the recipe!" He tried to reason.
 Jean came into frame, looking down at a book. "So, Hop Pop. You told Pebbs the recipe had boom shrooms, what did-HOLY SMOKES! WHAT DID YOU GUYS DO?!" She shrieked, throwing the book aside as she stared at the burning Plantar's home in terror.
