Earlier this week, Anthony Anderson's wife Alvina Anderson filed for divorce for a second time, and now the actor has responded to that request.

The Black-ish actor requested the dissolution of their marriage after 22 years, according to court documents obtained by People, citing irreconcilable differences and listing their date of separation as February 25. The filing also stated that while he will give his estranged wife spousal support he would like the exact amount to be saved for “future determination.”

Anderson has requested that they each pay their own attorney's fees. Also still to be determined amidst their separation is “the exact nature and extent of separate property assets and obligations” and the “community and quasi-community assets and obligations” they share. He added that he “reserves the right to amend this response when same is ascertained.”

On March 25, Alvina initially filed for divorce, also citing irreconcilable differences, asking for spousal support and that her attorney's fees be paid. She also asked that all property acquired throughout the marriage be treated as “community” property and split equally between them. However, she listed, “All gifts and inheritance, all assets, earnings, accumulations, and debts acquired by [Alvina] prior to the date of marriage and after the date of separation,” as her separate property.

The former couple are high school sweethearts who got married in September 1999. They have two adult children together, 26-year-old Kyra and 22-year-old Nathan. Alvina previously filed for divorce in 2015, once again citing irreconcilable differences and requesting spousal support. But by January 2017, she had rescinded her divorce petition and, according to E! News, the pair had reconciled.
