Royal Mail stamps highlight threatened UK mammals
13 April 2010: Otters, water voles, polecats, bats and whales are among the subjects of a new series of stamps from the Royal Mail that highlight 10 declining UK mammals. The launch of the stamps today is timed to coincide with the International Year of Biodiversity - a United Nations conservation initiative working to protect irreplaceable natural wealth and reduce biodiversity loss
