Description:

(In the main photo, it is the cluster in the center of the photo) Plant green-ochre to brown; capitulum small; fascicles in groups of three; Stem red-brown; Stem leaves oblong broadly tipped, slightly fringed, hyaline cells divided at the tip. Branch leaves smaller than stem leaves, hyaline cells with many large pores, longitudinal fibers, stem leaf cross-section with green cells clearly visible on the ventral side, notched at tip.

Habitat:

lakeside sphagnum bog found on forest margin. Medium exposure.
