Bedstraw Hawk-Moth or Gallium Sphinx (Hyles gallii), caterpillar on bedstraw (Galium mollugo), Labkrautschwärmer-Raupe auf Wiesenlabkraut (Gallium mollugo), Grünenmatt, Emmental, Switzerland Hurrah!! What an exciting evening!! And quite a rare finding in my region.
