Manchurian Crabapple (<i>Malus baccata var. mandshurica</i>), a relatively small deciduous tree native to northern China. It is a natural variety of the Siberian Crabapple and its spring-borne clusters of 30mm wide flowers are always followed by 1cm wide, red fruits, unlike the variably coloured yellow to red fruits of the typical species form.
