This site will inform you on some of the turf grasses from the genus Poa.

Some of the grasses described are used in the turf grass industry, while others are used for forage and even soil erosion. Other types of Poa can also be found in the wild, mainly including forests and other places where lawn mowers cant go!

Other Grasses listed: To most sports turf managers, the grasses with the genus Poa are normally used by them selves. The other grasses listed (Wood Bluegrass, Tussac Grass, and Fowl Grass) are examples of Poa grasses that the turf industry is more than likely not aware of. Pos Genus grasses can be used for different reasons and I hope you realized other uses of Poa Grasses!
