Spiraea lucida (Shiny Leaf/White Spiraea)

$0.00

Our native shiny leaf spirea has a dwarf, rounded habit and stunning, broad (2-5 in. across!) bright-white flower clusters that persist for weeks and offer seed forage to wildlife for months thereafter. Additional features include pink buds before the flowers emerge and long-lasting splendid golden or vivid red/orange fall foliage!

Growing no more than about 2-3 ft. high x 3 ft. wide, no pruning is necessary to sustain this naturally dwarf shrub in any sunny to partly shady spot, including in Zone 1 of a rain garden!

Widely adaptable to a variety of soils, and very drought tolerant once established. A great habitat plant for numerous beneficial insects, including native bees, and songbirds.
