Gentiana puberulenta (Downy Gentian)
Downy Gentian grows in mesic and dry prairies and savannas. It grows to 20 inches in height and blooms from late summer to fall with dark blue clusters of cup-shaped flowers. Leaves are opposite and stalkless.
