purple meadow sage
Native to central Europe this Sage grows 1 1/2 feet tall, 3 feet wide. 3 foot showy whorls of fuzzy purple flowers with tiny violet calyces summer into fall. Full sun, average to low water, not particular about soil, good with lavenders and other drought tolerant plants. Attracts butterflies and hummingbirds. Hardy to 0°F.
