Net-marked parmelia is a foliose lichen in the family Parmeliaceae. It is very tolerant of pollution and has a cosmopolitan distribution, making it one of the most common lichens. It harbours a unicellular "Trebouxia" green algal symbiont.

Moreover - with the passing of years, one is changing his mind as far as the creative side of photography is concerned - I hope in a positive direction. Another view of composition, contrast, color temperature, and so on. Now I look at my old photos with another eye and appreciate them differently. The other trend I find even more fascinating is people transforming into becoming species-aware in the field. Actively identifying and going on trips to find new species.
