        2. Unfortunately, we don't have many (if any) professional entomologists here. This damselfly is so much covered with water drops that I am not sure what it's colours are exactly. Do you have a close-up or another view where the pattern on the chest can be distiguished?

            Modesty or not, your reputation of getting to the bottom of these type of identifications is solid, as seen dozens if not hundreds of times before. In my book that makes you a specialist :)

''Nehalennia speciosa'' is a species of damselfly in family Coenagrionidae. It is found in Austria, Belarus, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Italy, Japan, North Korea, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, possibly France, and possibly Kazakhstan. Its natural habitats are swamps, freshwater marshes, and open excavations. It is threatened by habitat loss.
