Mushroom - Boletales, probably Boletus variipes
At first, I thought it was Imleria pallida, but the pores were white and didn’t bruise when marked. Plus, the stem was reticulate. Could it be Leccinum? Tylopilus felleus? Boletus variipes? I have no idea.
Habitat: Growing on the ground near a pond; mostly deciduous forest with some pine.
