Pulmonaria angustifolia 'Blue Ensign', also known as Lungwort, is a hardy perennial that produces tiny pretty violet purple flowers from late spring and into mid summer. This plant is quite sun-tolerant, and acts as the perfect ground cover plant in the flower bed. Will die back in the autumn and reappear the following year, providing years of interest.
