Flower: White elongated cluster
Leaves: oppositely arranged, pairs at right angles to the pair below, up to 5 inches long and 3 inches wide, toothed around edges, narrowly to broadly egg-shaped to oblong, tapering to point at tip, on a stalk 1 to 2 inches long
Fruit/Seed: 2-chambered capsule, small, teardrop shaped, densely covered in hooked hairs
Height: 1-2 feet
Flowering: June - August
Habitat: moist woods, thickets
