A male starling (Sturnus vulgaris)
A male starling (Sturnus vulgaris)
This bird in its spring glossy plumage regularly visits with his partner to a fat ball feeder in my back garden. Many starlings mimic other birds and this individual does a fantastic curlew song, along with buzzard, blackbird and thrush.
