Anthony Anderson, 52, shows off trim physique in a hoodie and skinny jeans during LA outing... after completing pal Will Smith's fitness challenge

 Anthony Anderson showed off his svelte form Friday in Los Angeles.

The Black-ish star, 52, looked fit and trim in a navy blue Bastille sweatshirt, patched skinny jeans and blue sneakers as he strolled through swanky Beverly Hills. 

The Law & Order veteran has maintained his weight loss that began after going through a 14-week challenge with his friend Will Smith back in summer 2021.

While going through the transformation, the game show host said he worked out a lot, but the focus was keeping an eye on what he put in his mouth.

He told GQ: 'In the beginning you always go, well, everything's good in moderation. Well, then you're moderately still killing yourself.'

The Smirnoff spokesperson, who was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes, high cholesterol and high blood pressure, stuck to a mostly plant based regimen including fruits, vegetables and whole grains along with fish.

'It became learning when and what to and what not to put into my body. It's still a learning process.' 

The Departed actor admitted he turned to other famous friends to boost his health journey, including The Biggest Losers host Bob Harper and Today meteorologist Al Roker, who introduced him to a nutritionist. 

Anthony told Entertainment Tonight he left Law & Order, where he reprised his role as Detective Kevin Bernard, after one season so he could pursue other projects.

The comedian has re-teamed with Black-ish creator Kenya Barris for the upcoming romantic comedy You People. 

The Netflix film stars Jonah Hill and Lauren London as a young couple who want to get married, but worry about navigating the clashing cultures of their Black Muslim  and white Jewish families. 

 Eddie Murphy, Nia Long, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and David Duchovny co-star in the movie set to debut on the streaming service January 27.
