The aim of this work was to use Plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) for the improvement of cultivation and agronomic and pathogen protection characteristics of ornamental bulbous plants such as Tulip (fam. Liliacee), Iris (fam. Iridacee), Freesia (fam. Iridacee) and Narcissus (fam. Amarillidacee). The experiments, started in November 2020, were conducted in the greenhouses of CREA-OF in Pescia (Pt), Tuscany, Italy. The experimental groups were: i) group control irrigated with water and substrate previously fertilized; ii) group with Effective microorganisms irrigated with water and substrate previously fertilized; iii) group with beneficial bacteria (TNC Bactorrs13) irrigated with water and substrate previously fertilized; iv) group with beneficial bacteria (Tarantula powder Advanced nutrients ) irrigated with water and substrate previously fertilized. The trial showed a significant improvement in the agronomic parameters analysed on plants obtained from Narcissus, Iris, Tulip and Freesia bulbs treated with microorganisms. In particular, there was an increase in plant height, vegetative and root weight, bulb weight and diameter, and flower duration. In addition, the use of microorganisms in the growing medium showed a significant increase in the biocontrol of Botrytis cinerea. The treatment with Effective microorganisms (EM) showed the most significant results for all agronomic parameters analysed. The improvement in plant growth brought about by the activity of bacteria is a key aspect of achieving sustainable agricultural goals in the future. More research is needed in this field to identify new soil microbial strains that can be used for the formulation of new products applicable for improving the quality and resistance to biotic and abiotic stresses of potted plants.

A KNOCK AROUND THE ECONOMIC IMPACT OF COVID-19 WITH REFERENCE TO THE QUANTUM OF GOODS AND SERVICES TAX COLLECTION IN INDIA2021 •
COVID -19 has wedged all the major economies across the globe significantly. The World Health Organisation (WHO) first declared COVID-19 as a world health emergency in January 2020. The virus originated in Wuhan, China, but has been detected in over 200 countries. Amid the Coronavirus Pandemic, several countries worldwide resorted to lockdown to control infection. Due to lockdown, the production and distribution chains have been disrupted across the lands. All the segments of the economy have been impacted in different magnitude, and this has a direct impact on GDP, unemployment ratio, and tax collection. Goods and Services Tax (GST) is a harmonized tax of different indirect taxes in India. The GST collection reflects the volume of economic activities in India. Thus, in this paper, an attempt has been made to assess the impact of Covid-19 on the Indian economy concerning the quantum of Goods and Service collection in Indian during the lockdown period. For this study, secondary data relating to GST collection have been pooled from the official websites of the GST Council of India for the last three years, i.e., 2018 to 2020, and pair t-test have been run for testing statistical significance of the impact of COVID-19 on the quantum of the collection of Goods and Service Tax in India before and after lockdown announcement after adjusting the inflation factor. The results indicate no significant difference in the quantum of Goods and Services Tax Collection in India before and after the lockdown announcement due to the COVID-19 outbreak but a loss of Rs. 1,41,837 crore owing to the low collection of GST from March 2020 to August 2020 gives us a clear message that we should undoubtedly rethink the plans in more structural and more viable ways to reach a position to absorb any kinds of uncertain threats from the external environment.

Internet drug trading: national review of new online drug markets for young people2021 •
Illicit drugs are marketed both via dark web platforms and social media, but there are also research reports buying these drugs online. This study is intended to analyse the risk factors for the purchase of online illicit drugs. We assumed that social interactions, low levels of self-control, and impaired mental health would be correlated with online opioid sales following criminological and addiction analysis research. Moreover, online drug sales are expected to be related to low self-control and daily drug consumption. Participants in this nationwide study were aged 15 to 25 years and lived in Germany (N=1,732) and France (N=1,732). Measures of impulsivity, ability sensitivity, social association, psychological tension, and repetitive activity (drinking, gambling, and Internet use) predicted online drug use. 4% of German and French respondents reported buying drugs online of which, 63% did so via social media services. Online opioid purchases were associated with lower self-control, elevated social anxiety, heavy gambling, and Internet use, as shown by multinomial logistic regression and binary intervention regression models. It was not a risk factor to have online friends, but close social links with offline friends served as a security factor. The results indicate that more attention should be paid to mainstream social media services as a source for buying drugs as there are many psychological and self-control issues among online drug consumers.

HUMAN LIBRARY: INTRODUCTION, ORIGIN, CONDITIONS, PROCESS2021 •
Did you ever think that a human book could replace books? Did you imagine books could communicate? Most people's answers don't smile. But this is a time of great significance for the establishment of a human library. Denmark's journey began in Copenhagen, which today has been established in more than 85 countries of the world. This helps people to face challenges, overcome social and cultural bonds, to remove beliefs, and take a positive attitude. Prejudice is removed. There are many benefits. What are the conditions and conditions of the establishment of a human library? What is its process? What is the root of it? What is its usefulness? You will find answers to too many questions.
The forest litterfall plays a significant role in regulating global biogeochemical cycles. The production of litter varies in different forest ecosystem across the globe and mainly controlled by vegetation type, phenology and environmental factors. The forest litter with chief constituent as nitrogen, carbon, phosphorus, calcium, potassium helps in increasing soil fertility and moisture and helps in forest recovery and preservation. The litter decomposition process governed by temperature rainfall, quality and composition is more important as it helps in mineralization of dead organic matter into useful substances that becomes a chief constituent of nutrient cycle. Thus litterfall as a carbon stock of different functional type ecosystem is significant in understanding particulate organic matter origin and cycling and global climate change.
Tulip (Tulipa gesneriana L.) is an important and highly valuable flower of the cut flower industry. The most critical step in its cultivation is to break dormancy in order to initiate the growth, especially in tropical and subtropical slightly warmer areas of the world. Therefore, the current research was designed to break dormancy and foster growth of the tulip in Potohar region with the help of different primers. The objective of this study was the selection of best primer in appropriate concentration to be used for effectively enhancing growth, yield and vase life of the flower. Tulip bulbs were treated with different primers: T0 (distilled water), T1 (chitosan @ 5 g/L), T2 (gibberellic acid @ 0.15 g/L), T3 (humic acid 160 g/L), T4 (imidacloprid 19 g/L) and T5 (salicylic acid 0.1 g/L) for 24 hours respectively. The experiment was laid out using Complete Randomized Design (CRD) with three replications. Statistical results revealed that characteristics including early germination, plant height, number of leaves, stalk length, fresh and dry weight of flower, weight of bulbs, diameter of bulbs and number of daughter bulbs were significantly increased in T2. Whereas, leaf area, diameter of stem and flower were maximum in T0. Plants under T3 showed an increase in chlorophyll content of leaves. While floral characteristics like early formation and opening of flower bud, more number of flowers and vase life were improved in T1. Thus, statistical results showed that priming can effectively help to enhance morpho-physiological attributes of tulip.

THE ASSOCIATION BETWEEN BODY WEIGHT AND THE PREVALENCE OF DIABETES MELLITUS2019 •
The diabetes mellitus is becoming an important cause of worldwide mortality and morbidity. With the development of technology and the changes occurred in life styles lead people to have a sedentary life. As a result of that overweighed people and obsessed people are increasing quickly. It is a known fact that obesity is a risk factor for non-communicable diseases like diabetes mellitus. Diabetes is a disease occurs when the body of a person is no more able to produce enough insulin for the process of the body. Thus this study was carried out to find the effects of importance of body mass index (BMI) on diabetes mellitus onset. A cross sectional study was conducted among 100 participants chose from a cluster sampling and a simple random sampling. The data about the demographic features, socioeconomic status, body mass index, and food routine were collected and analyzed. Out of 100 participants, 51% were suffered with diabetes mellitus. They were from various occupations, educational levels and socio-economic levels. In the diabetic community 51% were overweighed. And in the nondiabetic community 81.60% were normal weighed. There was a significant association between diabetic community and BMI χ2 (3) = 31.041, p = .000. With a decreasing level of physical activity, people are more likely to be diagnosed with diabetes. Body weight is strongly connected with onset of diabetes mellitus. The majority of diabetic patients was doing sedentary work, thus they are suffering from overweight or obesity. Therefore measures must be taken to aware the society about the reasons for obesity and the risk of diabetes mellitus
Malaria is one of the diseases which is greatly affecting the people’s health at the same time leading to death of infants in the sub-Saharan Africa. Being spread by female anopheles mosquito, the use of mosquito nets has been the main way of combating its spread among people. However, since mosquito bites are not restricted to indoor, the use mosquito lotion repellents have been viewed as an alternative. Surprisingly, this measure of combating malaria infection through mosquito bites has been found to be of limited use among people with perceived lack of knowledge and commitment for regular application. Therefore, it is against this background that the study sought to explore practices on Integration of Lotion Mosquito Repellents to Combat Malaria infection among people. The study is quantitative in nature using an Exploratory Study design. Using random sampling technique, data was collected through questionnaires from individuals of Lake Malombe neighborhood in Mangochi, Malawi. Results of the study reveal that there is low usage of mosquito lotion repellents among people in the study area. Apparently, more people rely on taking medication and use of mosquito nets in combating malaria infection through mosquito bites. Therefore, the study recommends sensitization of people on integration of mosquito lotion repellents as a way of combating malaria infection.
