Eunicidae

Eunicidae are a type of polychaete (literally many-bristles) worm that lives in shallow marine waters around the world. Bizarre in appearance, they scavenge detritus, and some species build parchment-like tubes that may collect on the shore. Eunicidae are among the largest of the polychaete family and may exceed one metre in length.
