Species Description
Widespread but local in the Southern half of the UK. Much more scarce in Scotland. Habitat includes: Bare, dry places such as walls, sandy, rocky, calcareous, skeletal soils, short turf, rocks, sandy grassland, limestone pavement, rock ledges, cliffs, screes, pavements, railway tracks, bare rock etc. Growing habit: Winter Annual. Height: Up to 15 cm. Flowers: April to September (in milder regions can flower all year round).
