The violet tubular flowers “cat-mint” usually have scented leaves when they bloom in spring. It has traditionally been used as a remedy for cold and flus. Common symptoms if ingested are stomach pains and diarrhoea. If ingested by cats, it will have the same affect as to what humans have with cannabis.
