I spent most of the day at Rare ogling at the new Brazilian stock in this week and chatting with Jo, Nick and they're nephew, Josh. I also tried my hand at getting some decent photo's of their fish.

Oh any my apologies, they're not all plecos

Panaque cochliodon - A lovely big 'ol Blue Eyes, I think some lucky chap already has these.

Pseudorinelepis cf. gennibarbis L095 - A strange prehistoric looking plec, and is bold and active (for a plec that is).

Pseudopimelodus zungaro - I really liked these, they have a great OMG! expression all the time.

Uaru fernandezyepezi

Dianema sp. - These are a great fish to watch swimming and friendly towards everything. Tied for my favourite fish of the day.

Pterophylum leopoldi

A mixed group of Tetras and Corys.

Gymnotus pedanopterus

Parancistrus aurantiacus 'Xanto' - A really rare and awesome looking fish, they really earn their common name of 'chubby pleco', and are really hairy.

Ancistrus sp. 'L289' - A rare and pretty little plec.

Yes, I think it is the same person having both. Rare have another smaller one about 23cm/9", and it has a lyre tail with extensions about 3cm long. I couldn't get a picture of it though.
