Species Information
Forewing length 12-17 mm. A fairly large caddisfly with brown forewingswith several whitish markings, including larger blotches.
Seen June to October in various habitats, including near ponds, lakes, pools and flowing water courses like streams and rivers. Native to Britain, common and widespread.
