Family Mordellidae – Tumbling Flower Beetles


17 UK species, 5 genera. These are long-oval and rather hunched beetles. The elytra does not reach the tip of the pointed abdomen. The larvae feed in the stems of herbaceous plants, rotting wood and fungi. The adults feed on pollen.
