Taxonomy: Fam. Brassicaceae// Genus:  Diplotaxis// Species: Diplotaxis muralis (L.) DC.

Determined according to the botanical key provided by Heywood in Tutin et al. (1964) and Micevski and Matevki in Micevski (1995).

Lifeform: Annual; therophyte according to the Raunkiær system.

Distribution: Native from Europe to Caucasus; Canary Islands; North Africa according to the Plants of the World Online portal (Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew).

Habitat: Disturbed ground – cultivated land, road sides and ruderal areas.

Flowering period: Spring – summer: MAR, APR, MAY, JUN.
