Taxonomy: Fam. Brassiceae// Genus: Rorippa// Species: Rorippa sylvestris (L.) Besser

Determined according to the botanical key provided in The Flora of Republic of Macedonia (Micevski, 1995).

Distribution: Native from Europe to Siberia and West Himalaya according to the distribution information provided by the Plants of the World Online portal (Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew).

Habitat:  Found in wet habitats, river banks, alongside streams and other bodies of water.

Lifeform: Biennial to perennial.

Flowering period:  Spring – summer.
