Hedge Bedstraw & Everlasting Pea

Scroll down to content

White flowers of Hedge Bedstraw (Gallium mollugo) and pink flowers of Narrow-leaved Everlasting-pea (Lathyrus sylvestris). These two plants occur separately and also entwined together at the Newport Wetlands this July. Either way they looked good. I often wonder to what extent plants grow naturally on these kinds of nature reserves or whether they are judiciously planted.
