Opiliones

Opiliones, also known as harvestmen, differ from other arachnids because their bodies are undivided and they have a single pair of eyes, like mites. Generally speaking, they have small bodies and unusually long legs, being sometimes mistaken for spiders. In some species, the body can be tiny. Unlike spiders, opiliones do not produce silk or build webs. All known species are nocturnal and photophobic. Lastly, opiliones have no venom, being absolutely harmless to us.
