Acer campestre 'Carnival'

Looking for a white maple tree? Check out the 'Carnival' maple, which is known for its striking white variegation. The leaves of this Acer campestre cultivar feature a thick white margin that contrasts beautifully with the small green splotch at the center. In the fall, the tree may turn a lovely golden yellow. 'Carnival' can grow to be 10-12 feet tall in just 15 years. For best results, plant this tree in a location where it will receive at least morning sun to full sun. 'Carnival' is hardy in Zones 5 through 9, but if you live in a hotter climate (above Zone 8), consider providing some afternoon shade to keep the tree healthy and thriving.
