The Cerasus subhirtella, also known as the Japanese Early Cherry Blossom, is spectacularly beautiful when it blooms. The tree is filled with a profusion of flowers, creating a cloud-like spectacle of color.

This tree can be planted en masse to create a “sea of flowers” landscape, or in smaller groups to create a “brocade cluster” within green spaces. Even after the petals of the Japanese Early Cherry Blossom fall, the filaments can remain for a few days, creating a unique red cloud-like effect from a distance.

Moreover, the leaves of this species have a soft, furry texture, adding to the wild charm of the Cherry Blossom.
