Abstract

Myxomycete samples were obtained as field research and with moist chamber cultures during biodiversity surveys carried out in 2 different cities (Adana and Hatay) of Eastern Mediterranean region of Turkey during the period of between 2015 and 2020. As a result of this study 5 members of the Myxogastria (Mycetozoa) belonging to the orders Physarida obtained. Diderma montanum (Meyl.) Meyl., Didymium columellacavum Hochg., Gottsb. & Nann.-Bremek., Physarum brunneolum (W. Phillips) Massee, Physarum clavisporum G. Moreno, A. Sánchez, A. Castillo & Illana and Physarum spectabile Nann.-Bremek., Lado & G. Moreno are recorded for the first time from Turkey. Physarum brunneolum fruiting bodies was found on the natural area, the other species obtained with moist chamber culture in laboratory. Descriptions, distribution, photographs and a key to all of the species are given here in.
