Description
The adult when compared to Asian House Martin has a combination of white underparts, longer and more deeply forked tail, and paler underwing-coverts. Upperparts in juvenile is browner (less glossy) and is rather dingy underneath with brownish centres to some feathers of vent and undertail-coverts, whitish tips to tertials, and has shallower tail-fork which is very similar to Asian House Martin.

          They are prefer open country with low vegetation, such as pasture, meadows and farmland. They prefer nearby water areas and also found in mountains up to at least 2,200 m (7,200 ft) altitude. They are also found in urban areas and will nest even in city centres if they find air clean. For wintering it uses similar open habitats on the wintering grounds.
