General Description
Stems 5–50 cm. Leaf blades 2–7 cm long. Heads: involucre 3–8 mm high with glandular hairs. Ray ligules 1–3 mm long. Disk flowers 15 to 35; corolla 1–3 mm long. Pappus 9 to 14 scales; those of disk flowers acuminate. Achenes 1–2 mm long, short-hairy (Lesica et al. 2012. Manual of Montana Vascular Plants. BRIT Press. Fort Worth, TX).
