Description
English: Latvian President Valdis Zatlers delivers a speech prior to a distinguished visitor event at several sites around the exercise Baltic Operations 2010 training areas here. In his speech, President Zatlers praised the efforts of the Marines and Sailors of 4th Landing Support Battalion and Naval Beach Group 2, as well as members of the Armed Forces of Latvia, local port authorities, and Latvian contractors, who have been working together with U.S. forces to conduct maritime preposition force offload operations and other training events here since the start of the exercise June 6.
