Peltigera aphthosa (L.) Willd. Image location: Baie-Sainte-Marguerite, Parc du Saguenay, Quebec, Canada Just noticed the great shots of the underside you added. Yes, I’d definitely say this is aphthosa group. I think the keys are misleading when they say aphthosa has no veins or weakly-developed veins. What your photos show is typical in my experience. Recognized by sight: broad weak veins starting well back from margins; is that an apothecium with continuously-corticate back in the first photo?
