Description

Arcyria ferruginea Saut

Image location: Teronda West, Coupeville, Washington, USA

Growing on barkless, well decomposed wood in mixed woods. No spores present on first day (pink), I had to come back a few days later when it was more mature to get spores via microscopy.

Recognized by sight: Salmon pink and very closely packed sporocarps.
