Identifying Features

The flowers of this species are 0.5", pink to lavender, with 5 petals and are usually paired.

The leaves are fern-like, divided in 3 to 5 segments, and grow on hairy stems. The plants grow to 16" in height.

Habitat & Range

Herb Robert grows in rocky forests and ravines in western and eastern United States and Canada, as well as in Europe.

Life Cycle

The flowers bloom from May to October.

This species is an herbaceous annual.
