The hairy leaves 0.4-0.8" long, all crowded into a basal rosette, per Wildflowers of Tennessee (Carman, 2005).

Fruits are smooth, flattened, egg-shaped siliques to 0.4" long, per Wildflowers of Tennessee, the Ohio Valley, and the Southern Appalachians (Horn, Cathcart, Hemmerly, & Duhl, 2005).
