Great to hear that your spindle is looking so colourful. The pink parts are the seedpods, and the orange seeds are inside. Berries are usually round, or almost round, and soft and fleshy with their seeds amongst the flesh, like blackcurrants, strawberries, hawthorn and many other plants and trees. I hope that helps.
