Cuscuta sandwichiana, dodder. 1 - This Hawaiian native stem parasite is common in the coastal strand where it attaches to virtually any host plant, e.g., Ipomoea, as seen here. 2 - Small greenish flowers and orange-tinted stems are characteristic of this parasite.
